As a mother and real estate broker, I’m proud to have worked hard to build my business from the ground up. It’s been rewarding to know that my children have witnessed the vision I had for my career become a reality. Tenacity and countless experiences along the way built and shaped my real estate journey, leading me to where I am today.
At my career’s beginning, my children were just 3 and 5 years old. Balancing motherhood while taking on an entrepreneurial endeavor had its challenges; however, it set a great example of hard work and perseverance for my children. Fueled by passion, I was determined to build something special of my own, crafted with skill and care.
In those early days, I vividly recall packing up my kids and taking them along with me to showings. They became my little helpers, eagerly inspecting cabinets and searching for anything out of the ordinary in the homes, of which to alert me. It became our routine, and I would reward them with a special treat afterwards. Their excitement and willingness to become a part of my work encouraged me forward, knowing I could still be an involved mom all the while building a career of which I could be proud.
However, this wasn’t my first introduction into the world of real estate. My roots in the industry go back to 2003, when I worked as a mortgage broker, helping people consolidate debt, refinance, and ultimately save hundreds- if not thousands of dollars per month. These savings could literally be life changing for my clients, and it was beyond rewarding to know I was helping make such a difference in their lives. However, it wasn’t until my then husband and I began purchasing and renovating investment properties that I discovered my true calling.
I found myself fascinated by homes from a young age. I would imagine the stories that lived within the walls of different homes I’d pass by while bicycling around the neighborhood. For most of my childhood, we moved around a lot, living in different states. There really wasn’t a place I considered “home” until I was an adult and planted roots here in Las Vegas. Upon moving here in 2007, I immediately fell in love with the beautiful weather, incredible views, and endless things to do. Las Vegas is home to me, and I’m dedicated to helping others lay down roots in the city that I love.
Navigating the real estate process and helping people find their perfect homes came second nature to me. I loved helping people solve the various problems encountered during the buying and selling process. At the time I was married to a doctor, and I noticed that these professionals faced their own unique set of challenges. With this knowledge in mind, I developed a niche helping physicians with residential and commercial real estate. Doctors tend to have demanding schedules and need someone they can completely trust to coordinate the real estate process and ensure everything goes smoothly so they can use their precious time to focus on what matters- their patients and family. Curating an experience that is as enjoyable, hands off, and as stress free as possible is a crucial part of successfully caring for all of my clients.
As my children grow older, I see the importance of demonstrating values like hard work, determination and genuine care for others. I notice these qualities within my son, Roman and my daughter, Gemma, as they are both exceptional students but also kind-hearted individuals. I’m so proud of the incredible young people they’ve become.
In 2021, I hit a milestone that symbolized a new chapter in my life. Over the course of 11 months, I poured my heart into building a new home, incorporating everything I had learned from experience over the years to create something just right for my family and I. This experience reaffirmed that building a home is so much more than just choosing finishes and floorplans- it’s about creating the setting where future memories will take place. When our home was finally finished, it symbolized all I had worked for, the resilience it took to get here, and the bright future ahead.
In my free time, I find solace in practicing yoga, volunteering, traveling and cherishing quality moments with my children. Whether it’s sitting by the pool, exploring new destinations or enjoying the company of friends, these moments rejuvenate me and help me find balance in my life.
My educational background in psychology and marketing has equipped me with the skills to understand and connect with a wide range of people, making the process of buying or selling a home a more personal and reassuring experience. With a speciality in serving medical professionals, I know what it takes to create a seamless experience from start to finish. Based on your needs and wants, I tailor the experience to be as hands-on or as hands-off as you prefer.
